The Fair Play Code encourages appropriate standards of behaviour to enable every Victorian to be involved in safe, welcoming and inclusive sport and active recreation. The Code is guided by the five principles of Integrity, Safety, Respect, Fairness, and Responsibility. Alcohol Policy
This policy aims to provide a basis for the responsible use of alcohol by the Knox Football Netball Club and is seen as fundamental to the aims of the club. The club recognises the importance in holding a liquor license in the value it adds to the club, enabling it to generate income and hold social functions, but in doing so the club also accepts the responsibilities and expectations of the community in strictly adhering to the liquor licensing laws. To ensure the aims of the club are upheld and that the club and its members manage alcohol responsibly, the following requirements will apply when alcohol is served at the club or during a club function.
Safe Transport Policy
The Knox Football Netball Club recognises that on occasions alcohol may be served at special functions and that as a club we are responsible for the safety of our members. In doing so the club shall ensure our members are aware of this policy and are encouraged to make alternative transport arrangements when consuming alcohol at such functions.
